
Working as a freelance community manager for a Latin community online store in Vancouver was an incredibly rewarding and inspiring experience. I had the opportunity to connect with and engage a vibrant and passionate community of individuals who share a common love and appreciation for Latin culture.
Through my work, I helped to create a sense of belonging and unity within this community, fostering connections and building relationships that will have a lasting impact on both the individuals involved and the wider Latin community in Vancouver. Some of my tasks, while I was working for them, were:
Develop and execute a community management strategy to increase engagement, loyalty, and advocacy among customers and fans of the brand.
Monitor social media channels, review sites, and other online platforms to identify opportunities for engagement and respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Build and nurture relationships with customers, influencers, and other stakeholders through personalization, empathy, and transparency.
Create and curate content that resonates with the target audience and aligns with the brand's values and messaging, including blog posts, videos, images, memes, and other forms of multimedia.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, customer service, product development) to align community initiatives with broader business objectives and maximize impact and ROI.
Organize and host events, contests, giveaways, and other community-building activities that foster a sense of belonging and fun among customers.
